Editorial purpose

The publication improves access to trustworthy news, explanation and practical professional resources. It distinguishes verified reporting from analysis and personal perspective, prioritises primary sources, identifies material limitations and does not present commentary as official organisational policy.

Editorial leadership

SAS Doctors Review is founded and edited by Dr N Aziz, DGM FRCP, a senior SAS physician in care of the elderly, medicine and rehabilitation. His professional experience includes clinical leadership, SAS advocacy, education, appraisal and national Royal College of Physicians work, with a particular interest in autonomous practice, career development, workforce recognition and support for SAS and locally employed doctors.

Independence and declarations

Views published under an individual author’s name are their own unless an article explicitly states otherwise. SAS Doctors Review does not speak for an employer, regulator, Royal College, professional association or NHS organisation. A role or interest is declared where it could materially affect how a reasonable reader interprets an article.

Corrections

Material errors are corrected transparently. Significant changes affecting an article’s meaning carry an update or correction note. Email editor@sasdoctors.com with the page address and the precise point to review.
