Your privacy choices

The site separates three purposes: essential technology, anonymous aggregate statistics, and browser-only learning features. Essential technology cannot be switched off through this page. Anonymous statistics are off by default and start only after you enable them. A new choice is requested when a material purpose or consent change requires it. If cookies cannot be stored, future pages default to no statistics and no optional learning storage. Browser learning features remain off unless you deliberately allow them. Selecting essential only turns off statistics and removes optional SAS Doctors Review learning records from this browser.

Review your choices

Open privacy settings to turn anonymous statistics or browser learning storage on or off at any time. The website remains fully readable when both optional purposes are off.

What is not used

SAS Doctors Review does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics beacons, session replay, fingerprinting, cross-site tracking or behavioural profiling. It does not receive the contents of browser-only learning records, knowledge-check answers or scores.

Browser-only learning records

The optional records use the browser’s local-storage facility rather than a traditional cookie. They cover Navigating the NHS, Leadership in Practice, Wellbeing, SAS Advocates, Professional Regulation, Portfolio Pathway, Contracts and My learning. Local storage is still treated as a browser-storage technology requiring a clear choice because it can remember information on a device.

Managing and deleting data

Use programme reset controls or My learning to remove particular progress records. Turning off browser learning features removes all optional SAS Doctors Review learning and saved-chronology records. Turning off anonymous statistics stops future aggregate reporting from this browser. Existing anonymous totals cannot be connected back to an individual reader. You can also clear this site’s cookies and local storage in browser settings.

Links to official and professional organisations open services with their own cookie and privacy practices. SAS Doctors Review does not control those sites.
