9 September 2026: pension chronology
The Contracts programme previously gave 6 April 2024 as the date the lifetime allowance tax charge was removed. The correct date is 6 April 2023. The lifetime allowance itself was abolished from 6 April 2024. The online teaching and module PDF have been corrected. Individual protections and transitional rules may affect the position.
9 September 2026: editorial quality revision
Clarified transparent clinical-record corrections and late entries; updated source destinations; distinguished combined registration applications from the route for doctors already fully registered; and added dated GMC adviser-stage and appeal information.
Assessment answer positions now vary, 84 distractors have been refined and three separate capstones contain 72 original scenarios. Earlier saved scores relate to the earlier exercises and are not directly comparable. All 44 practical PDF resources now have complete HTML counterparts.
What dates and checks mean

Scope of editorial assurance
The review used primary-source comparison, content and database regression checks, document text and layout inspection, and accessibility-oriented implementation checks. These do not amount to independent human peer review, legal certification, a penetration test or a guarantee that every rule remains current. Browser and assistive-technology checks must be recorded separately when completed. High-impact material should be checked against current official instructions before action.
